Free Royalty x Carey School of Basketball’s Arts and Athletics Weekend was a major success and an unforgettable launch for Free Royalty! With an incredible turnout and high-energy participation, students from across the city gathered for an immersive experience that blended art, media, and hands-on training in storytelling.

From the start, the weekend was packed with creativity and exploration. Students dove into visual art workshops and even received an exclusive tour of Denver’s historic East High School, including rare access to the legendary East High clock tower.

The excitement didn’t end there—just days later, the August 9 Master Classes proved to be another huge success. From inspiring art sessions to exclusive industry secrets, and even free professional headshots, every moment was amazing and insightful. Participants left empowered, connected, and ready to take their creative visions to the next level.

Throughout the weekend, participants had the chance to work hands-on with professional cameras and equipment, capturing athletic events, shooting headshots, photographing one another, and practicing interview techniques. For many, the highlight was learning to operate drones, opening up new possibilities for filmmaking and digital storytelling.
